As with all Woolworths the hot cross buns were on the shelves on 2nd Jan. So just after celebrating Christ's birth we are commemorating his death within 8 days of each other. For those who don't know, the hot cross bun was originally made in Remembrance of the death of Christ and to be eaten on Good Friday only. They say it's consumer demand!!! Take the cross off then those who know and take the significance seriously won't have a problem with it.Take a stand Woolworths and do the right thing.
Friendly and helpful staff, great prices and easy parking. The neatest shopping trolley parking out the front of the store that I have ever seen! Perfect.
